Inter Hunt relay at Barbury Castle and Peterborough

The Junior Grafton Inter Hunt relay team made a successful and very enjoyable debut at Barbury Castle finishing a very respectable 4th. The opening match pitched them against the Surrey Bloodhounds, a good start from George Deverall was followed by clear rounds and good handovers from Beanie Steele, Toby Steele and Charlotte Deverall.

The semi final against the North Cotswold then followed after a short rest. The riding was equally as good as the previous round, however the handovers could not reach the standards achieved in the opening salvo thus allowing the North Cotswold to proceed to the final.

Many thanks to organiser and coach Claire Mahon who is took one senior team and two junior teams to The Festival of Hunting at Peterborough on Wednesday 21st July.

Grafton Point-to-Point at Whitfield

Many congratulations to Mick Wills, The Grafton Huntsman, owner, trainer and rider of Pharanto, in his first ever Point to Point ride, winning the Members Race at Whitfield.
